The vdobug DVD Navigator does not sync to a DVD disk, but rather it sync’s to the DVD player. In less than a minute you can program the bug to any DVD player. If you want to change the player being used, simply reprogram the bug to the new player. You do this through the player’s remote control.

Q: What is digital authoring?

A: Authoring is the process of adding a unique digital code to the original DVD indicating ten chapters or bookmarks which can be read by the "bug." The authoring process allows the viewer to start and stop playback at preset points within a DVD. Signals from the vdobug DVD Navigator, are sent to the DVD player to start, stop and skip at specified intervals.
